Send 3 double-spaced, typewritten copies in English or French (or WORD files attached to an e-mail) along with a written statement that the material is original and has not been published or submitted for publication elsewhere.

Visual materials, whether as illustration or the central focus of the article, are encouraged. Keep in mind that most of the journal is currently printed in black and white, and that all artwork and photos must have appropriate credits and permissions.

Information for Prospective CRAE Authors
- Authors may submit well crafted manuscripts (in English or French) on research or issues of interest and benefit to Canadian art Educators. We welcome manuscripts reflecting diverse contexts, perspectives, and methodologies. Submissions from teacher researchers and masters/ doctoral students are encouraged.
- Manuscripts should be submitted in the following form to facilitate the "blind" review process.
- Three paper copies as well as an electronic copy are required. The first page of the manuscript should begin with the title, followed by a 50 75 word abstract. One copy must have a cover page containing the author's name, professional title or position, complete address, and telephone / fax / email. This information must not appear anywhere else on the manuscript.
- Manuscript form should follow one of the well known publication style manuals, such as APA or MLA. Please note, at the top of the first page of the manuscript, which style manual you have followed.
- Black and white photographs, drawings, and / or diagrams are acceptable: for review purposes, you may send photocopies of the original.
- The three paper copies (and the electronic copy) should be accompanied by a letter from the author confirming that this manuscript is not concurrently submitted to any other publication. Also, the author should whether the manuscript in whole or in part has been previously published.
