This Directory is CSEA’s first national inventory of university-level professional studies for teachers and researchers in visual arts education. Our objective is to include a listing for every Canadian university that offers professional studies in visual arts education, that is, courses and/or degree programs that address visual arts/visual culture curriculum and instruction, visual arts teacher training/certification, and/or research in visual arts/visual culture education. Our goal is to provide useful information to students, teachers, researchers, administrators, career counselors, and policy-makers, as well as to facilitate communication and collaboration among professionals within the field of visual arts education.
