Note: The C.D. Gaitskell Memorial Address, inaugurated at the CSEA-SCÉA's 1987 National Assembly in Halifax, is held annually in honour of the memory of Charles Dudley Gaitskell, the founding president of the CSEA-SCÉA and the chairman of UNESCO's 1951 Bristol Seminar which gave birth to the International Society for Education through Art (InSEA).
